Is the volume booster really free?
Yes. Boosting costs nothing, the file you download carries no watermark and nothing is added to it.
Do I need an account?
No. Pick a file, press the button and download the louder version. No signup, no email address.
Which files can I boost?
Upload MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, OGG or a video file up to 100 MB, and download the louder audio as MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG or M4A.
Do my files stay private?
Your file is processed on our own servers and deleted automatically, and nobody else sees it. The download link is unguessable and is never listed or shared anywhere.
Will boosting distort my audio?
No. Every boost runs through a limiter that holds the peaks just under the maximum, so the loud moments stay clean instead of clipping into a harsh crackle.
How many decibels should I add?
Let Auto decide: it measures the loudest moment in your file and lifts the whole track until that moment sits just under the maximum. Switch to Manual when you want an exact number — +3 dB is a gentle lift, +6 dB doubles the signal level, and around +10 dB sounds twice as loud.
How loud can I make my audio?
Auto goes as loud as the file allows without clipping, and adds up to 30 dB to a very quiet recording. In Manual you can ask for up to 30 dB yourself. Remember that a boost also raises hiss and hum, so a noisy recording is best cleaned first.
Can I boost several files at once?
Yes. Add up to 10 files, pick one loudness setting and boost them all in one go — then download each result, or grab them together as a ZIP.
Is there a preset for YouTube or podcasts?
Yes. Besides Auto and Manual you can pick a loudness preset: YouTube targets -14 LUFS, and Podcast and Normalize both target -16 LUFS, the standard for podcasts and streaming.
