What can I do with a waveform image?
It is the picture of a track people recognise from streaming sites. Use it as an overlay on a podcast or music video, as a channel banner or cover, as a sound logo, or simply to show the shape of a recording.
How do I put the waveform over a video?
Choose the transparent background and download the PNG, then drop it onto a layer above your footage in any editor. There is nothing behind the wave, so the video shows through around it — no cutting out and no black box.
Which size should I pick?
The 1200×300 strip is the classic bar that sits under a track. Take 3000×1000 for a channel banner or a cover, 1920×1080 to fill a video frame, and 800×800 for a square social post.
Why does my waveform look like a solid block?
Modern masters are loud, so peaks reach the top of the frame almost all the way through. Switch the shape to Average for a calmer picture, or use a taller size so the quieter passages have room to show.
Can I show the left and right channels separately?
Yes. Turn on the stacked channels option and the left channel is drawn above the right. With the Sunset colours each channel gets its own hue, which makes a wide stereo mix easy to see.
Can I render several files at once?
