What size is a SoundCloud banner?
Artist headers are wide and shallow, and 3000×1000 covers them comfortably — it is large enough that the platform's own resizing keeps it sharp. The same file works as a YouTube or Bandcamp header.
Can I use it as cover art too?
Yes — switch the size to the 800×800 square and you have a cover instead of a banner, drawn from the same track.
Why does my waveform fill the whole panel?
Loud, heavily mastered tracks peak near the top almost all the way through. Switch the shape to Average for a calmer block, or run the track through the normalizer first so the quiet passages have somewhere to sit.
Can I put my logo or title on it?
Not here — we render the waveform only. Download the image and add text in any editor, or export it with a transparent background and place it behind your own layout.
